This logic analyzer is small in size and can sample up to 24Mhz. That's more than enough to take a few I2C, SPI or UART communication under the microscope. Logic analyzers are for advanced use, since one has to understand how the data is transmitted (low-level). The pinout is described on the logic analyzer itself. On every channel, everything above 1.5V is seen as a high signal, and between 0 and 0.8V as a low signal.
The maximum voltage on a channel is 5.25V.
